ESL Classes

Program is suspended until further notice.

The library hosts four English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESL) programs, which are free and open to adults who want assistance learning and speaking English. We have a rolling enrollment policy and students are invited to begin the class at any point in the year.

Classes run from September - June unless otherwise directed by teacher. Call 201-652-5104 for information on each individual class.

ESL Conversation Group meets at the library on Wednesdays at 10:15 am and Tuesdays at 7:00 pm. The program is designed to engage students in lively dialogue about issues they face in their daily lives.

ESOL Learning Activities meets Thursdays at 10:15 am and focuses on reading and comprehension.

Native Spanish Speaker Class meets on Monday evenings at 7:00 and is taught by a bi-lingual teacher.
