Teen Volunteering

At this time the program is currently open to tweens and teens in grades 6-college.

If you would like to volunteer, please email jennifer.kellymaloney@waldwick.bccls.org with the subject line teen volunteering. In the body of the email please include your full name, age , grade and school. Please do not use a Waldwick schools email, as the system will not allow me to send you the Sign-Up Genius sign-up link.

Please review the following guidelines before registering for the volunteer program:

Teen Volunteer Guidelines, updated 5/2025

  1.  Volunteering is a responsibility.  All volunteers need to commit to the slots they sign up for. The children you are volunteering with are counting on you and other volunteers are waiting for open spots.

  2. All volunteers should contact Ms. Jenn in a timely manner if they need to cancel a shift.

  3. Repeated missing of your shifts will result in your removal from the volunteer program.

  4. Please do not show up to work shifts that are full without asking in advance.

  5. You must sign in and out with your name and the starting and ending time for your shift. If you neglect to do so, you will not receive credit for the hours you have worked.

  6. Volunteers should not bring additional friends or children to their shift with them, the numbers at certain programs may be limited.

Volunteer Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  2. Helping with programs. Please be prepared to participate!
