Enter your Waldwick library card number below then click submit to create your account and start using wsj.com immediately. You must click submit for access after entering your card number! Your access will be available for the next 3 days. After 3 days, simply come back, reenter your card number, and login as an existing user with the username and password you created. Submit You are not permitted to share the sign-on credentials with any other person whatsoever. Any violation of this clause will result in Dow Jones terminating access for the library. Please be mindful of this so everyone can enjoy digital access to The Wall Street Journal. Services Notary Public T he library offers notary services in accordance with the New Jersey Notary Public Manual, published by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Revenue. Notaries witness a patron signing a document or signing a sworn statement on a document. The library notary attests that: The signer of the document appeared before the notary, The notary positively identified the signer, and The signer both acknowledged the signature as his or hers, and that the signature was made willingly. Please call ahead to be sure a notary is available(201-652-5104). This service is free to Waldwick residents. Non-residents will be charged $2.50 per page. Please note: the Waldwick Library does not provide witnesses for documents. Witnesses must accompany the patron. Library staff will not serve as witnesses for any documents. Copy Machine/Printer The library maintains a copy machine for public use. Copies cost 15 cents each. The library maintains a printer for public use. Black & white prints costs 15 cents per page. Color prints cost 25 cents per page.

Trustees are charged with the responsibilites of establishing written policies, securing adequate funding for the library program, developing short- and long-range plans, and approving the annual budget. Meetings of the Board of Trustees are held on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM in the library. The public is cordially invited to attend. Internet Use The Waldwick Public Library is pleased to offer Internet access to patrons as part of our mission to develop collections, resources, and services that meet the educational, cultural, recreational, and business needs of the community. The library endorses the American Library Association’s Library Bill of Rights, and the Freedom to Read Statement. All library users are provided equal access to the resources available on the Internet. The Internet contains a wide variety of material and opinions from varied points of view. There is material and information on the Internet which individual patrons may find inappropriate. Patrons are hereby notified that they are responsible for the access points they reach. Parents of minor children must assume responsibility for their children’s use of the Internet through the library’s connection. As with other library materials, restriction of a child’s access to the Internet is the responsibility of the parent/legal guardian. The Internet, like all of the library’s information sources, must be shared and used in a manner which respects the rights of others. Library personnel do not monitor or supervise Internet access except the length of time of use. Viewing of certain materials in the library may be considered improper in time, place, or manner. The library reserves the right to end an Internet session at any time if it is creating a disturbance. The Waldwick Public Library assumes no responsibility for any damages, direct or indirect, arising from the use of its World Wide Web server or from its connections to other Internet services. Rules for Internet Terminal Use The library reserves the right to restrict sessions to 60 minutes per day. Printing must be completed before the end of a session. ESL Classes The library hosts English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESL) programs, which are free and open to adults who want assistance learning and speaking English. We have a rolling enrollment policy and students are invited to begin the class at any point in the year. Classes run from September 19- June unless otherwise directed by teacher. Call 201-652-5104 for information on each individual class. Thursday, 7:00 pm...Learning Activities Class. No registration required. ESL Learning Activities Class is designed with lessons tailored to develop fluency and understanding of the English language.

HOME ABOUT eLIBRARY YOUTH SERVICES ADULTS More... Quiet Study As a community service, the library makes its Local History Room available to Waldwick residents for periods of quiet study when it is not being used for its primary purpose: library-related activities. Additionally, the Local History Room may be used for meetings of nonprofit community groups that do not exceed the maximum occupancy of six persons. Nonprofit community groups are defined and limited to "those groups which are located within or have their principal business address within the Borough of Waldwick." Use of the Local History Room shall be governed by the same tenets contained in the Waldwick Library Meeting Room Policy and Waldwick Library Code of Conduct. Applications for use of the Local History Room will accepted from and limited to: Waldwick residents (proof of residency required) Waldwick Library ESOL tutors Nonprofit community groups of six persons or less As in all other areas of the library, the use of cell phones, and the consumption of food or beverages is strictly prohibited. Use of the telephone, computer, scanning, and printing equipment located in the Local History Room is strictly prohibited by those using the room by request. The Local History Room may not be reserved for more than two hours per day or ten hours per week. Patrons more than fifteen minutes late for their reservation will forfeit their use of the room, unless they notify library personnel. Adopted by the Library Board of Trustees Date: October 17, 2012

The Waldwick Public Library is a member of the Bergen County Cooperative Library System (BCCLS), commonly referred to as "BUCKLES". The BCCLS consortium consists of 77 libraries in Bergen, Essex, Hudson and Passaic Counties and affords patrons reciprocal borrowing privileges at all member libraries. Patrons with valid Waldwick Library cards can request materials from BCCLS' libraries be sent to Waldwick for easy pick-up and materials borrowed from any ember library can be returned to Waldwick and will be sent back to their home library. www.bccls.org
