Get a Card

We are excited to have you join us as a patron of the Waldwick Library. Your library card may be used to borrow materials from the 77 member libraries in the BCCLS consortium.  Library cards must be presented in order to check materials out and are good for a period of 3 years. There is no fee for the first library card issued to an individual. Lost cards can be replaced at a cost of $3.00.

To be eligible for a library card you must show proof of residency or property ownership in Waldwick.

Acceptable as proof of residency:

  • A valid driver’s license with current address

  • A current utility bill imprinted with your name and address

  • A current lease agreement or tax bill

 

Non-resident Courtesy Cards

Courtesy cards are available for patrons who are employed in Waldwick. Courtesy card holders have privileges only in the Waldwick Library and cards must be renewed yearly.

Acceptable as proof of employment in Waldwick:

  • Letter or pay stub from Waldwick employer verifying employment

You may fill out an application for a library card online and pick it up at the circulation desk. Please be sure to bring proof of identity and residency when you pick up your card.
